I didn’t plan it, it evolved. From mosaics to collage, from sketchbook experiments to using my own family photos and artwork as collage papers.

 

Before I knew it, I was creating portraits that felt less like photographs and more like artworks.

I’ve used everything: my own painted papers (which feels very close to creating mosaics with paper cardboard ), magazine pages, packaging, wrapping paper, even cardboard boxes. Nothing is safe once I start looking at it with an artist’s eye.

These collages become a conversation between everything I’ve made.
