Next Mosaic Art Retreat Cape Town 2021
Due to the Covid outbreak the course is now postponed until November 2021
To all my friends current and past , FB friends and followers, mosaic enthusiastic people and art interested adventurous human beings. If you like to travel on your own but will not end up being alone but amongst like minded people, experiment new places and learn something new and different, this might be an opportunity you have always been looking for.
Would you like to come to my “Mosaic and Art Holiday Retreat Cape Town’ in October/November 2021.
You stay at a super safe and beautiful accommodation on a golf Estate or nearby B & B at the beach front , both walking distance from the beach and my studio. Transport to and from airport can be arranged. No need to think of any arrangements or logistics for this week. Relax and sit back. Just show up.
It will be a course filled with a variety of mosaic making techniques: from finding/creating your own abstract mosaic design, making mixed materials mosaics using local materials and beads and traditional beadwork from the continent of Africa. I will also squeeze in my Ocean themed bead mosaic taster inspired by the beauty around where you will stay.
Furthermore there will be visits to the many Art galleries in nearby villages, art studios e.g. the famous Spier mosaic academy, arts, craft and design markets and much more ( programme will follow soon )
We visit Cape Town scenic places, there will be plenty of wine tastings ( not only tasting) and try out delicious local foods. Beaches to walk on where you will be artistically inspired or rejuvenate from a hectic life are around the corner. ( A fresh start of the morning)
Now it is up to me to squeeze all that in one week and make it affordable, although I promise you the week will be priceless and an ever lasting memory. ( ask the one who took the leap before)
I can put you in contact with the right people if you wish more travel information, when you decide to stay longer than the week I arrange for you.
I can put your name down on a provisional mailinglist if this sounds too good to be true to you and keep you posted.
I know it is hard to make plans these days and commit, so you hear from me nearer the time.
I also have to revise the programme and see if previous arrangements are stil an option and or people involved are still in business.
Looking forward to hear of many of you out there….
